I’m trying to have a ball ‘roll’ down a hill for an infinite amount of time, I have the ball rolling and rotating on the ground, and I’ve used Motion Tile on the ground to stretch it. But to create the idea of motion, I need to move the ground backwards, and eventually I run out of ground layer, because Motion tile won’t continue on forever. What should I be doing? Do I create a loop of the ground in a precomp? Or is there an easier way to do this… Thanks for any input!

motion also has an offset feature, though it’s less intuitively named ’tile center’.

if you animate the tile center y component, you should be able to make it look like is moving, rather than animating the position property.
