Hi…I’m using Vegas 8 and just got InfiniCam to cut a three camera performance shoot. My question is…how do I make editing changes to the body of the piece after I’ve already made all the camera choice decisions? For example, there are dead spaces in the show I want to cut out. But if I do cut picture and audio, all the script markers infiniticam placed on the time line after the cut will be out of place, won’t they? Is there a way to move all those markers, in a group, just like you create groups to move video and audio? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks…

    Mike.

You need to use Ripple Edit (Ctrl+L) with the option to move all affected markers. You have to use the Ripple Edit Icon on the toolbar to set the mode initially. Turn Ripple Edit on before you make a cut and everything to the right, including the markers, will ripple left. Then turn Ripple Edit off because you don’t want this behavior all the time. If you forget to use Ripple Edit, you can still press Ctrl+F immediately after and edit to do a Post Ripple Edit.

    Hope this helps,
