  • Industry Standard Audio Level for DVDs?

So, I know MiniDV is supposed to be at -12db and HDV and other formats are set to -20db, is there a standard audio master level for DVDs that we give to clients?

I’ve been mastering to -10db because that is what I heard consumer electronics are supposed to be at, but it seems a little low. I am about to hand in a DVD that may get mass-produced and I figured I better verify. Thanks…
