Hi all…looking at the industrial DVD players for doing live shows and we need a decent control of chapters without having any display info come on the screen, along with a decent and responsive trasnport mechanism.

I did some searching on the web for RS232 controllers, and although the industrials have the RS232 port, they don’t have a simple plug and play solution to control it….there are a lot of software (PC) solutions that run on a laptop, but I’m thinking there must be a simple controller that plugs right into the player and is ready to go.

Any ideas? We are looking at the Pioneer industrials and will entertain others…

I’d settle for ANY player that allows you to shut off the DAMN on-screen prompts.

Heck, I know its in PAUSE, the image stopped moving.
