    Hi all,
I’m having problems opening up jpg’s and pdf’s in InDesign. I get a message saying “InDesign may not support this file format, a plug-in that supports the file format may be missing, or the file may be open in another program”.
Nothing else is open, I just updated Adobe CC, it’s saying I can sync my files to Creative Cloud. Do I need to do that now? It just won’t open my files. What plug-in is it talking about? or is it something else entirely?
I need this for a school project tomorrow. Can anyone help? Thanks so much in advance!

You don’t open jpeg and pdf files in InDesign, you place them. A different command in the file menu. You need to have a document open to place them into.

Thank you very much for answering my question. I haven’t used InDesign in a while. Thank you!
