  Indesign cut/paste language nightmare!!

  Hi,

  I have a problem with language settings when cutting and pasting text in Indesign. I cut English (UK) text within the document, but it pastes in German (reformed)! This happens whether I cut and paste a box, or just the text within it.

  Does anyone know how to resolve this so that InDesign always pastes in the same language as the cut?

  We manage laguage in our Indesign CS2 files using the language settings in paragraph styles, as well as applying language characteristics at the character level.
