InDesign 4 to InDesign 3
My boss has Indesign 4 on his computer and we only have one copy of CS4
Can Indesign 4 files be brought into Indesign 3 through a conversion that I don’t know about?
Or will we just need to suck it up and buy a new copy?

Yes, just export the file as an INX file, if I’m not mistake you should then be able to open it in CS3. That was the procedure for converting from CS3 to CS2 anyway.
