  • Incrementally increase volume of all audio keyframes shortcut?

Posted by Eddy Elliott on July 1, 2014 at 10:26 am

Hi guys, newbie to Premiere Pro after 10 years on FCP.

To quickly increase or decrease clip volume I use the brackets or shift + brackets with the clip selected…
but for some reason the shortcuts don’t work if there are keyframes applied. I’d like to raise the volume of all clip keyframes by exactly 3db…

Is there a different shortcut for this?

    Any help greatly appreciated…

    Thanks in advance…

    Ash

This feature was just added in the 2014 cc release – if you go into the keyboard shortcuts and look for “nudge volume” that’ll do it. It’s a little different than FCP in that it’ll begin to flatten out your keyframes if you nudge too far, and also annoyingly doesn’t work on clips in the source panel, so can’t yet ditch those increase/decrease volume shortcuts. I’m hoping they’ll consolidate these shortcuts soon, gotta submit a feature request when I get a sec.

Thanks for the help Justin. So many great features in Prem Pro, just some small but handy things I feel still lacking, will be submitting a few feature requests myself.

    Thanks man.
