can anyone tell me how I can increase my speed gradually or exponentially within a clip, instead of changing the speed of clips all at once

There are no keyframes in the Time Remap parameters; but, I was thinking it would be cool to be able to keyframe speed parameters just like scale, opacity, or other basic motion, etc.

I wasn’t having to much luck with the ‘variable time’ setting within the Time Remap parameters either. Any insight or ideas would be appreciated, Thank you

You should read the manual or a tutorial book or do a google search for time remapping in FCP. You can add keyframes to the time remap graph. There are a number of ways to do it.

    All the best,

Tom, no offense, but that wasn’t a really good answer. Can’t you briefly explain how to do it, so we don’t have to spend hours in the manual???
