    Hi, Cow.

Does anyone have any idea how to increase view distance in the viewer? I have a rather large scene, but the viewer clips and won’t let me view objects if I pull the camera back in space.

I’ve done searches on the internet and looked all inside C4D, but can’t find anything.

    Thanks,

    Jason

Try running the viewport>edit>frame default function to restore the editor camera’s original settings. Be mindful of when you’re trucking the camera in/out vs. zooming the camera in/out. If you indadvertently zoom in too far you can have these sorts of problems and the viewport becomes balky.

As a general rule it’s a good idea to keep your scenes within the approximate area of the default grid. If they’re a lot larger, and also if they’re very very small, you can run into floating point problems that make navigation difficult.

I always forget this. In R16, go to your top menu bar:
Edit > Project Settings > View Clipping

Thanks for adding that info Greg. It’s the same for R17 too.
