    Increased render time with custom effects

    I have a small problem with rendering custome effects on MCA 2.1 running on a HP 8000. For example if I create a resize on a clip and render it out, it goes pretty fast, but if I save that effect to a bin and use it somewhere else, it will take up to 10 times longer to render, then if I simply re-create the effect. Does anyone know why this is or know of any easy workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Check your render settings, and make sure it’s set to “Quality Set in Each Effect” rather than “Highest Quality.”
