    This is a weird complaint, but when I set a batch in compressor, the ‘time remains’ ticker slowly counts up, not down, then all of the sudden, it is done. I have no effects except fade in and out. Here are my specs:

    8 core Mac pro
    6 Gb Ram
    FC Studio 2
    Using Qmaster cluster of only 4 cores

    Rendered a 7 min, DV compressed mov to h264 m4v for test.

    Even before I setup the cluster, it showed the time as either really long, or it continued to count up on the ‘time remaining’.

    Hmm, just timed a 5 min video to h264 using the cluster (4cores), and it took about 8 minutes in Compressor.
    I did a direct export (same format) in FCP, and it took 2 mins.

    What the heck?
