Inbound workflow …. (i.e. should I be allowing content generators to submit word files)
Hello all,
The subject says it all really.
Not everybody has Indesign (or knows how to use it competently enough), so what I’m reaching out to the community for is to find out how people deal with submission from content generators in real life ?
For example, how does it work for newspapers ? The journos are obviously not indesign users, so how do they submit their content ?
Word files seem, to me at least, to do more harm than good… they’re messy to import and require a lot of fixing up ? Maybe its because I’m not setting the right standards for the Word users ?
