    QUESTION: If u can help..
    I would like to use In & Out points to choose a range-part from a segment clip. In cc17 it’s choosing the whole segment clip and not only the points from in to Out. I can do it only if I click in the empty space in timeline etc ..and then i have the in&out part. Is there any settings for that?

    I would like I&O to manage timeline like in Picture2.

    Sounds like you want Premiere to do something it doesn’t do. Set your In and Out points, and press the “C” key to enable the razor tool, and cut the clip at the in and out points. Press V, and drag the clip where you want to go.

    That’s really the only way to do what you want to do in the sequence. Otherwise, you should set your ins and outs in the clip monitor.

    Thank you for the reply!
    Because I couldn’t explain it well…I did a fast video (youtube Unlisted video) about it.

    I can’t understand why sometimes the whole clip selected even if I have the In & Out points in timeline.

    Hi…

    even if the whole clip is highlighted….

    how about using lift default key -> ;

    as opposed to delete?

    that really should limit it to in/out no matter what…

    Thanks Alex,

    That was it… so simple!
    I am in the way leaving from FC7 and going to Premiere CC.
    so I am trying to find the easiest way for that change!

    I try the lift default key -> ; and it works as delete even if the whole clip is selected!
    Appreciate your help.

    My Regards.
