When setting an in and out point in the source monitor, how do you specify a certain length for the in and out? In other words, say I put an in at 3:00.00, and I want to have a 00:10:12 (10 & 1/2 seconds) long clip. Can I click anywhere to specify the duration, and then have it automatically set an out point accordingly?

Click on the time/frame number in bottom right corner of the Source Monitor and type + and the number of incremental time/frames to move the playhead to the desired out point (in this case +00:10:12).
