    Hi everyone,

Coming here after read few posts here and searching on Google, but didn’t clarify my issue.

I’m rendering a comercial for a broadcaster client and I’m quite new on that..

Basicly the broadcaster needs an .mxf file at 50mbps so from AdobePremierePro I’ve export my sequence 720×576 DV PAL with the IMX 50 PAL preset. The video file result seems match the requirments but a black line has added on top. Why is that happening?

What I’ve read around internet is that MXF export add 32 lines into the video? I’m not quite sure to had understood that..

    Any help will be grateful!
    Thank you

Don’t worry, the video must be OK.
I was searching on Google because of that black line and I found your post. Then I opened the file with Premiere and it was OK 🙂 (same thing with After Effects, both CS6)
Maybe the standard players can’t handle this type of codec. (I have the black line with VLC).

Hey, thanks for reply and share opinion 🙂

At the end seem there was any problem with the file, as you said is the codec that generates the black line.

The broadcaster didn’t gave me any bad feedback, so… everything cool!

Just keep wondering which is the functionality of these black lines…

    Cheers!

Actually there is no black lines 🙂 The black line is some kind of bug or incorrectly interpolated codec by the software you’re trying to open with.

    Sorry for bad English 🙂
