    IMX 50 on Avid

    We used Telestream PipleineHD to create some IMX 50 files. These IMX files play back great on the Mac they were captured on. However on our HP 8600 Media Composer systems these files will not import. Nor will the play with QT on the PC.

    Any ideas?

    There are some proprietary IMX50 codecs around. Obviously, you have this codec on your Mac, but not on your XW8600. Try and find out which codec exactly is used on the Mac, so you can find out if there’s a PC variant of the codec.
