  • Impossible error – FCP Versions don’t match.

    This is bizarre.
I am trying to get back work from an autosave version and put it into my current version that has a mistake.
Whenever I try to open a second project (this is opening one, not creating a new one), the computer refuses to open it saying “this project was created using a newer version of FCP.
This is impossible because sometimes I’m trying to open an autosave version that is only 20 minutes old!
That means that the computer is saying my current version of FCP, which just created this autosave project just a few minutes ago, is now too old to open the autosave project in question.
That’s odd. But, even more odd is that whenever I try to open a second project of any kind I get that same message.

    Any ideas on this?
