  importing/title tool problems

  I’m having some drive issues it looks like. Whenever I try to save a title, it tells me “Exception: can’t open file” Also, whenever I try to import a file from an internal drive, I get that same message.

  If I try to import from CD or zip, it works, but when I drag that same file to the desktop, it won’t import.

  i’m using a mac dual 1.25 G4 with avid xpress pro. I’ve reinstalled the OS, the application, repaired disk permissions.

  any ideas would be immensely appreciated.
