Importing XDCAM HD from PDW-U1
Trying to import material into Sony Vegas Pro 10d …
I’ve got the PDW-U1 hooked up—-Laptop is seeing it…but can’t quite figure out the process for importing to a Vegas project.
I ‘imported’ using the ‘import’ method in the dropdown…but then the ‘containing folder’ is the Disk on the PDW-U1. Do I need to use ‘device explorer’? and if so..what is the process…? I’ve tried device explorer but get hung up as if I am not following the correct procedure.

I know nothing about this drive so this is a stab in the dark.
Have you tried XDCAM Explorer?
It’s under the View menu.
The online help menu gets into a lot of XDCAM suggestions so check it out too. -
