Importing xdcam ex1 mp4’s into Avid
hey guys so here is my issue:
i shot some footage with the sony ex-1 and i used the xdcam transfer utility to ingest them onto an external HD. they came out as mp4 quicktimes with the xdcam codec. i sent them to the client who edits on avid and is having issues seeing the footage, they can hear the audio but no video. i edit on fcp and know that the files are fine because i could see them on my computer fine. anyone have any ideas? could it be a update of avid?, the wrong version?, missing codec?, is there a special way ti import these files?
