    hey all

apologies if this has been posted already.

I commonly use iMovie for capturing of DV footage that Final Cut Pro sometimes dislikes.
In the past previous versions I could capture in one long clip – no scene detection breaks giving me a gazillion clips.

I can not find where in iMovie 9 I can turn this off?

    Any one have any advice?

    Thanks,
    Enero

Is there any particular reason you don’t capture in FCP? FCP will capture DV in one long stream.

sometimes final cut doesn’t like the DV tapes – dropped frames and it aborts import.
I usually have better luck importing via iMovie when its shot on tapes I didn’t use.
