    Hi Everyone,

Has anyone out there ever have problems importing WAV files into Media Composer? I’ve tried importing a group of WAVs, and my Avid pin wheels resulting in me having to force quit out of the program.

I have also tried to import them individually with the same result. However, I was able to import 8 of the 40 or so files correctly. The rest all result in a pin wheel and me having to force quit out.

    Any suggestions?

Avid obviously aint diggin’ those files. Throw em in virtual dub or after effects and render new wav files.

Try opening one of the “bad” wavs in an audio program and resaving it. If you have the option, strip out all additional information. Sounds like typical corruption, but I’ve never had Avid choke on audio files.
