    Hello all;

    I’m having a problem trying to open a video in Vegas. It’s in 1080p. When I try to open it in Vegas, it gets stuck at 768p (the resolution of my second monitor), cutting off all but the top left of the video.

    Has anyone seen this before? Google has not been very helpful thus far.

    Is it in the Video Preview Window on the second monitor. In the upper left area of that Window there is a drop down box that adjusts the preview. It might say “Preview (Full)”, “Best (Full)”, etc. Select one of the Auto options to scale the 1080p video to the lower resolution monitor.

    I tried that and it didn’t work.

    I asked around on Reddit and got it working. It seems to have been an issue with the file itself (which Windows thinks is in 1080p but Vegas was opening in 768p).
