Importing TS Files
I have SOnay Vegas 7 and when I go to import a TS file from a dvd the file does not register in the “open” box in the sony vegas import box. Help!

Did you try File | Import | DVD Camcorder Disc? (I think version 7 had this)

Yes, I tried it but sony vegas doesn’t recognized the disc…the open dialog box remains greyed out when I select it to import.

If they are really .TS files then you don’t have a regular DVD because DVD’s contain .VOB files.

You browse as far as the disc title and no further or everything gets greyed out as you already discovered.
