Importing transparent images to AE
Hey all. I have a image that i made in photoshop cs4 with a transparent background. I have saved it as .Gif, and .Psd. Both have transparent backgrounds In Ps.
When i try to import them into AE, they appear with a white background?? Anyone know why this is? Or better yet how to fix it? Thanks!

No sir. I have been doing photoshop for a few years. I can open the file with photoshop and it has a transparent background. I import it to AE and it makes it a white background… As soon as I import the file into AE it shows it has a trasparent background for about one second, then it turns to white. Any ideas? It must be a setting in AE.

I actually figured it out :D! But you have to have a transparent layer under the layer you want to use. So if you have a layer with transparency called Dog, then just add a normal empty transparent layer under it and save as PSD!

Well if you export it as a png make sure its interlaced 😀 Its something people miss often
