    Hello guyz,

I really dont know what I am doing wrong but I will be glad if someone can please help me…I created a bitmap file in photoshop that is about 500 w x400 h pixels and imported the photoshop file into my AE project which my comp settings was the same size i.e 500 w x400 h pixels. But my problem is the photoshop did not fit into the comp.

I did not want to use the command Ctrl+Alt+F to make it fit to the comp but tried to find out where the problem was coming from…I tried but to no success.

Can someone please tell me what the problem is…I see no reason why it should not fit sine it’s thesame size.

    Regards,
    ‘kk’

thats weird … coz when i tried what u did and it worked…i did it 2 ways…first was to create a composition the same size as your photoshop size and imported the photoshop file and dragged it into the timeline…second was to drag the photoshop file into the timeline without creating a composition…AE will automatically create a composition with the same size as yur photoshop size…hope it works for u…cheers…merv

Right after reading your mail…I visited my workstation to battle the problem again…and this time around I got it right. I was begining to ask myself where the problem came from in the first place.

Anyways, I was able to fix it and now I happy…thank you very much.
