    Hi All,

Working in FCP 7 on a charity event that wants to have a list of all of its contributing sponsors scroll at the end of the video. They provided me with a PDF of the file which I can’t imagine will work, so my question is what format would be most ideal for me to ask them to provide the list in, and what’s the best way to proceed from there? It’s a lot of names to try to re-type in Boris or whatever program you suggest.

Thanks very much for any guidance.

    Do it in Motion

I’d copy/paste the text into one of the title tools (just to avoid typing) then adjust the font, spacing, etc, to get it looking right. For that it doesn’t make much difference what file format it comes in as long as the Mac can display it.

Motion is better than doing it in FCP, depending on how you want it to look (for plain white text on a black background I’d probably just do it in FCP).

Thank you both. It’s just black letters on a white background, but it sounds like motion is the way to go.
