Hi, im editing a wedding video at the moment using premiere CS3. the photographer has sent me discs of stills to use however when i try to import these i get the error reading – ‘file video dimensions width/height too large’ . i assume i have to change to photo frame size but am unaware of how to do this.

the project settings are as follows :
    Frame size: 720h 576v (1.422)
    Frame rate: 25.00 frames/second
Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1/DV PAL Widescreen 16:9 (1.422)

PPro CS3 will accept image sizes no larger than 4096×4096 pixels (4000×4000 in earlier versions).

You need to use an image editing program to reduce the size of the stills.

You will also find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.

    Cheers
