Importing Spanned P2 Media
Hi there,
I’m having a problem importing some media that has already been transferred off the P2 cards to a hard drive. Most of the files come in fine but there are a few that are Spanned that are giving me problems. I can preview these files in the log and transfer window and when i go to import them, the computer processes the entire file but then when it gets to the end, there is a orange exclamation mark showing that it didn’t work.
I’ve tried importing these clips with all the reels mounted and i’ve tried it with only the associated reels mounted.
Any suggestions would really help me, I’ve never done this before.FCP 6.0

The reels with the spanned clips need to be loaded in the P2 Browser. So if it starts on Card 14, and continues on Card 15, you need both in the Browser before you import.

I have tried with both cards loaded, i’ve tried with all the cards loaded. The clips still won’t show up in my project window.

Do you have the LastClip.txt in the folders?
