    Using M100 2.1.3

It has been awhile since I’ve edited with Red Camera (not since the Rushes day) on M100 and from the tutorials it seems as if I can edit it natively (or at least up to 4k).
From the Red Camera site I downloaded Red-Cine-X Pro and installed the Red Apple Workflow Installer – which seemed to include the Red Codec.

Through Red Cine X- Pro I generated the QT wrappers.
    F – 4800 × 2700
    H – 2400x 1350
    M – 1200 x 675
    P – 600×337

Now, I should be able to import them directly without the super long rendering process, yes? But everything I try has a long render attached to it. I am also seeing that there isn’t any kind of red “codec” listed as my import possibilities (mostly ProRes Codecs).

    What am I doing wrong?

Just went back and tried importing some older Red Footage and it popped right in. So it’s because it was shot in 5k. Any way to “fast import” 5k footage?

No, it is a completely new codec and system. Unfortunately it is not supported by Media 100 natively. 4k is…
