  • Importing RAW composition from Premiere to After Effects

    Hi everyone!

I’m working for the first time with RAW footage, editing a short film.
I put the single DNG files directly to Premiere and did a rough cut there. My next step would normally be to transfer the whole composition to After Effects to work on the single clips, stabilise them, put various effects and some colour correction as well.

The problem is that when I try to go to “File > Import > Adobe Premiere Pro Project” and import the composition, I end up having static pictures of the first frame of each clip and not the “moving” clips themselves.
When importing the single DNG files on After Effects, I know that I have to tick on “RAW Camera Sequence” and then everything will be fine, but when I import the whole composition this option doesn’t appear.

    What should I do?

    Thank you in advance,

    Federico

What, exact, version number of AE are you running? Is it 13.7.2?
    What OS?

I’m using the 13.0.7.124 version (2015.2 release) on a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5!
