Importing QuickTime clips into an AVID system
If a QT clip is encoded with a standard QT codec, like PNG, will all AVIDs import the clip? Provided they have the required version of QuickTime?

Yes, it will get decoded than re-encoded into the chosen Avid resolution during import.
