Importing QT Files error
Hi there,
I’m just trying to import some QT files that were (slideshows) exported from Iphoto and when I bring them into FCP (4.5) all I get is black…I tried bringing the files into Imovie and it worked, but when I exported the files (i’m trying to combine a couple of the slideshows/mov files) as “full quality DV it wasa crappy resolution.
I’d prefer to figure out what’s up with FCP and how to do that…but any other way anyone could help me out would be rad too

Hi There,
It sounds like you might have a iPhoto problem.
To see where the problem lies, you should look at your movie before you bring it into FCP. So, after you export from iPhoto, open the movie in QuickTime to see if it plays there. If it looks good, then you have a FCP problem, if it doesn’t look good-then you have a iPhoto problem.After you figure that out, then you’ll have a much better idea on what you need help with.
