    hi..

    importing psds as composition, but comes in as footage

    I have been importing psds, normally they come in, in the composition setting and then they make a new composition with the psd layers, but now it is only coming in to the composition as a footage..(not as layers) Have I set a preference somewhere or what?

    this may be that your psd is in cmyk mode

    ive had this before and this was the solution to fix it
