    Importing Psds

    For some reason when I try to import a PSD file it is giving me this error message:

    Any ideas why this is happening? It used to work fine but have just installed FCPX on a new mac and not sure if I have the settings wrong – I am using Photoshop CS6.

    Are all layer effects rasterized or flattening? Not the whole file, but layer effects. X won’t understand things like unmerged drop shadows, embossing, etc.

    Its ok, I had the psd file in cmyk mode so I switched it to RGB and it works now!
