I have a project I started in Premiere Pro CS5 Mac. I need to import it to Premiere Pro CS5 PC running on Parallels with windows 7.

When I relink the footage I get a warning “media mismatch”. The footage either looses the edit points and only imports with audio, no video.

I tried to save the footage out of MPEG streamclip with no resolution.

    Any love for this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

Just curious. Do you have Macdrive on your version of windows 7. Can you read and write off of mac formatted discs?

    Yes I have MacDrive 8.

I tried to just import a clip into the project, it took a long time and only took the audio. I am in prores LT if that helps any.

I think you are onto something Ken.

    Thanks

Do you save your preview files withing the same folder as the original elements? Do you think windows premiere is trying to recreate you preview files if it cannot find them? Secondly are the preview files in a format that Premiere on windows cannot read and/or recreate? Such as prores or Apple intermediate files?

I am assuming that you have the latest upgrade to quicktime 7?

You need to install a codec on the WIN comp. to read the Prores files.
