I have only had this problem since I downloaded the last update for Final Cut (intel Macbookpro), basically when I import 720p24 footage (only have this problem with 24p, not 30), and I press capture now, it comes up with the capture window but indefinitely says “searching for media” all the time. It doesn’t log any footage after I press escape.

I took my camera to a shop to get checked (JVC GYHD100u), they said it was fine and they cleaned it anyway.

Anybody having problem with a new update?

Anybody know how I can fix this?

    Please help!

For now you have to revert back to the version that worked for you.

This is why I NEVER update unless I absolutely must. Upgrading just for the sake of upgrading (and most people do) is always asking for trouble.

I learned this the hard way of course being an upgrader for the sake of it in my past.

I’ll probably never update to Leopard until its a requirement.
