Importing powerpoint presentation to Avid media composer
greetings, I hope someone may be able to advise a not very techie editor…
I have a hi resolution powerpoint presentation, saved as a PDF, to import into Avid media composer 6.1 running on OSX 10.7.4
The presentation has quite a bit of smallish text, and needs to be clearly readable. I have tried converting to .jpgs and importing on various settings, also followed a tip to convert to .tga and then import. But whatever i do, the imported images is a bit blurry.
Some tips I’ve seen online suggest taking files into photoshop, resizing and saving as a psd, but this is a step beyond my capacities at present – do I need to find a photoshop expert in order to get a hi res image into Avid?
any suggestions to import clear images complete with sharp, readable text?
