I have created GFX in photoshop and have trouble with them playing back in Final Cut. The graphics come up blurry and fuzzy. I have used the presets in Photoshop, Film and Video, and exported them as both PSD and PNG files to preserve their transparency but in the process i loss the crispness. What am I doing wrong?

I have had that exact problem before as well. It really gets annoying doesn’t it lol. I have sorted it out though now, but im doing everything in HD. What format are you doing it all in? and what pre-set are you using in photoshop?
    Cheers,

If you don’t need layers in FCP… save as a Layered TIFf in PS (imports flat to FCP)

As far as softness goes… you likeley are not viewing your canvas at 100% or do not have your sequence settings and PSD files matching.

On the FCP Canvas or on your external monitor? the FCP Canvas is not full resolution video, the graphics will appears soft and fuzzy on the FCP Canvas. How does the graphic look on your external monitor after you have rendered it?

I want to thank those who have given me advice on this problem. Once I viewed the sequence on a external monitor it appeared better, but it was not until I created new layers in photoshop for the effects on the text and photos did it get better. Thanks again.
