    Hi,

I’ve only been able to find this issue addressed in earlier versions of Premiere Pro CC, so I’m hoping to find some more up to date answers:

What is the proper workflow for editing footage from a C300 (MXF), a Sony F3 (mp4), and a Sony F5 (MXF) in Premiere Pro CC 2014?

I know that I can import the footage using Media Browser if I dont change the names or folder structure. But can I rename the MXF files with a more descriptive name, drag them into their own folder, trash the original folder, and import them directly from the folder that only has the renamed MXF files, as I’ve always done with DSLR footage? Or will that cause problems later on?

I’ve attached a pic of the folder structure I’m seeing for each camera:

    Sony F3:

    Sony F5:

    C300:

    Thanks!
