Importing MP4 Files into Premiere Pro 2018
Hello,
I’m working on a project with multiple video files all shot on the same day and from the same camera. While most of the files seem to import just fine, a few select files will only import as audio, ignoring the video content. I have read about Premiere 2018 not supporting older file types, but these clips were shot on the same day, same camera, and minutes after other files which import just fine without any error. Any advice on this? Thanks in advance!

If you’re having issues getting the h264 files into Premiere change the extension to .m4v and try to import again.
