  Importing .mov’s from Mac Server Avid problem!

  Hello All,

  Quick background on the situation. I work for a post house in ATL and we were running mac osx server on a G5 upstairs. This is connected to our 3 macs (final cut) and our 3 PC’s (Avid MCHD). Just recently our Avids (out of the blue) could not “see” the server. So after 3 days we just scraped the server sofware and put in Leopard on the G5 and all is peachy.. But now for some reason when we try to import any .MOV files avid says it’s the wrong format.. I have tried (animation, none compression, Avid DV25 and DV50, and others to no avail when trying to import from the server) When I drag them to the PC desktop and point Avid there they import just fine. Our workflow for the PC’s rely’s heavily on being able to import media from our “server”.. Any thoughts??? Please????

  ***Also, We are able to import TIFF, JPEG, and the like just fine..
