  Importing Motion files

  I am hoping this is an easy question for someone!

  I am working in FCP 5.1.4 and sending files to Motion for effects/text etc. I typically deselect the “embed motion content” box. Once I finish in Motion I save then try importing the file into FCP. This is when the wierdness happens…I get the following popup:

  “File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown”.

  Most often the .motn file is not imported…sometimes it is as a sequence(?). I used this workflow in the past successfully and am unaware of what changes I made to cause this error. Any ideas?
