    Dear All,

    I am trying to import my Media100 SW Timeline into After Effects as I have done countless times using 8i. What is interesting is that it creates an XML file. What is this and why is it there. It hangs my machine every time I try to import it into AE.
    Should I give up on this and re-edit it on Final Cut? I need to finish this project on Monday. All advice will be much appreciated.

    Media 100 uses XML as a exchange format with AfterEffects. It

    You export using the File->Export->Export to AfterEffects command. You need to place the “Media 100 Project XML Importer” into the AfterEffects->PlugIns->Standard->Format->fpf folder.
