Importing logo into c4d

I am now thinking that I need to go back into AI and re-work with the logo file and adjust some of the points etc. I didn’t create the logo plus I am not very savvy with AI. It appears that when imported into C4D, some of the splines (i think this is what they are referred to) not where they should be. Correct me if I am wrong but I would need to correct that issue in AI with the logo file?

Anyway, if you have any tips to help with this or know of a good vid tut that covers it, it will be graciously accepted. I look forward to your thoughts!
