  • Importing jpg error “..could not parse the file”

    Hi there,
I am having problems importing files into AE.
I can usually import jpegs and other formats no problem, though I have this particular batch of immages that just won’t budge. I have tried resizing them, changing formats in photoshop.. and I keep on getting the message ” ..error: the file format module could not parse the file”.
Does anyone know what the deal is here..
I thank you in advance for your help and attention.
    Riccardo

I’m getting this same error with one file in particular, but all my links are rgb 8/bit, I already tried re-saving them but nothing seems to fix the issue. Could it be that I’m swapping the file across systems and operating systems?
