Hi, can anyone help? I am trying to import an image without a background into C4D.
I have removed a background from an image in photoshop and saved as interlaced PNG but when I bring it into C4D, the image appears as the original image with the background which is really confusing as i deleted the background image layer from photoshop when I converted it to the PNG file. Can any one shed any light on this?

    Cheers

High Scott. You have to activate your material’s alpha channel (basic tab) and then load the same material into the alpha.

    Hi,
Thanks for the message. I have tried this but still no luck. I found a tutorial that explained how to do it with video footage (which worked fine) and applied the same technique to the image file but still shows the background that i’d taken out. Do you think it Is to do with the way I have exported the image from photoshop? I saved the image as png interlaced which I thought would do the trick?

    Cheers

    Scott
