    importing illustrator files

    Is there a way to import illustrator files without having to open a new scene?
    I want to keep the same lighting set-up.

    One final newbie question: is it possible to swap out illustrator files (by giving the same name, I assume).
    The files are words. The placement would be the same – and they don’t change position.
    Only the extrude animates.
    The only catch is that some words have more letters.

    Open as an object from the object window.
