  Importing illustrator file with colors

  Hi,

  I want to import a layer which includes 3 paths (3 simple boxes). If I choose the option when importing of bringing in the color it works….but I end up with three groups. This is not good for me. Later I want to change the artwork in this layer with a straight replace.

  If you import and tick the option of bringing in layers along with keeping the illustrator color, I don’t get the colors but do get a group.

  My plan is to deliver to a client a comp which allows them to do a simple replace of the illustrator artwork which includes colors. Too ambitious?
